For their springtime wedding at Galway Downs, they opted for an unseasonal color scheme. “I wanted the look to be a ‘moody May,’ with darker-than-normal spring colors and florals,” the bride explains. The result was beautiful as can be and lent itself to several sweet memories.
Queen set the mood with “Somebody to Love” for Juliana’s walk down the aisle, and made an encore performance for the first dance with “You’re My Best Friend.” “We practiced for months,” Juliana says. “We even had a dance teacher we saw twice a week.” Don’t stop them now!

The couple hammered a box shut at the ceremony to be opened on their first anniversary. Its contents? A bottle of wine and their written vows.
