Citrus, Bikes, and Other Upbeat Accents Defined This Palm Springs Wedding

God save the queen, because jolly old England is where Ali and Conrad fell in love. She’s from California and he’s from Germany, but London was calling these two to move there for work so they could meet through a mutual friend. Conrad proposed just as casually as Prince Harry (who asked Meghan while preparing dinner at home), discreetly sliding the engagement ring to her at a restaurant.

In contrast, their weekend-long wedding at Alcazar Palm Springs, where the couple and their 80 guests booked every single room, was full of big moments. Their favorite memory of all was when Conrad picked up his princess and spun her around to the tune of Calvin Harris’s “Feel So Close,” with their friends joyfully dancing around them. Cheerio!

The couple, who met in London, counts themselves lucky to have been in the right place at the right time. “We kept running into each other at group outings, and eventually went on a solo date.”
