After 10 years of dating, Brynn and Caleb both knew what was next. In fact, on a New Year’s Eve they simply said to each other, “Let’s get married.” Just like that no-frills proposal, their Valle de Guadalupe wedding totally broke a few traditions. “I wasn’t too picky about the typical details, like the flowers,” Brynn says. “But I did focus on the things that really mattered to me most, like having my best friend marry us, using music to set the tone, and selecting a venue that had the most unbelievable food.” That venue was Fauna Restaurante. Following the ceremony, the couple relished in having 70 of their closest friends and kin together at the reception. They ended the night on a high note, dancing to the Supremes’ “You Can’t Hurry Love.” What better tune to celebrate taking a decade to say “I do”?
“Getting married in a different country does pose its challenges, but we had an amazing coordinator that helped us navigate all the details.”
“I loved when we got to walk around together and connect with everyone that was there to celebrate the commitment we just made,” Caleb says. “I was so honored when our friends and family delivered their amazing toasts.”
