Bright blue, light blue, dark blue, Jet Blue—nope, that last one doesn’t count, but we’ll lop it in with sky blue—um, we’re seeing blue.
As part of our “Color Me Pretty” wedding gown shoot, honing in on five particular color schemes for a wedding at Callaway Winery, we called on the talented Michelle Garibay Events to find bold ways to work blue into your big day, from the dress to the florals, rentals, and more.
Hey, the hue itself represents trust, loyalty, even confidence. Need we spell out a more perfect way to start your wedding day?
The bold moves begin in one of our models’ light blue Sarah Seven “Christi” dress, paired at the altar with a roses overskirt and, of course, her gallant groom in a light blue “Verona” suit from Friar Tux.
The rentals take it from there, courtesy of Found Rentals’ plush couches, pillows, and armchairs. And the florals, from Soiree Floral Design, even swayed the blue way, with bouquets incorporating appropriately-colored blooms and bound by ribbons in our tried-and-true hue.
All that’s left to love are the bridal gowns themselves—Pronovias’s “Elcira” dress and Blush by Hayley Paige’s “Clover” dress.
Seeing blue and the bride. Now, that sounds right.
