Wedding gowns on wedding gowns on wedding gowns. Our Fall 2019/Winter 2020 is packed with them, and our dress shoot “Color Me Pretty” a love song to any wedding-planning couple’s desired color palette.
White, blue, purple, and pink—our Creative Director Hannah Rhodes had visions for our wedding gowns against hues like these. But there was one color scheme that stood out as the most cover-contending of all: yellow, believe it or not.
Captured by Leaf Wedding Photography as golden hour struck at Callaway Winery, our cover shot is of a Sarah Seven “Cabana” gown, available at The Dress Theory. The intricate lace detailing and scalloped turtleneck were so swoon-worthy we opted to zoom right up to our model to give readers a closer look.
And speaking of looks, who could her for gazing down at that bouquet? Created by the talented Carlos Franco of Green Fresh Florals + Plants, the autumnal arrangement (incorporating dried-out blooms) is only a gander at what Franco can do. For this feature he also fashioned together leis and floral spears in place of traditional bouquets.
As for our other color schemes captured, there’s many more nontraditional twists to pore over: a baby blue gown, floating escort cards, feathery arrangements, and plenty of other seasonal details to adore.
Pick up a copy, and let us help you pick your palette. Fall or winter wedding, we’ve got 144 pages of inspiration for your “I dos.”
