At the end of their leisurely two-year engagement, Jessica and Joshua’s big day was as relaxed as San Diego’s 70s-and-sunny forecast.
They proclaimed their “I dos” in the Palm Courtyard of Carlsbad’s Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, backdropped by palm trees swaying in the breeze and a bevy of white florals—including white rose petals scattered down the aisle. Guests arrived to a sign reading, “Choose a seat, not a side. We are all family once the knot is tied.”
“We told ourselves going into the planning that we’re going to enjoy every minute of this entire process, and we absolutely did,” Joshua recollects. “We took our time, didn’t rush to find venues or vendors, and enjoyed being engaged and planning a wedding.”
As for what details from the nuptials they’d love to relive? Their answer was simple: Every last bit. “It was an absolutely timeless wedding that we wish we could replay everyday.”
