Moved by fashion designer Daniela Cristiana, Catherine Bachelier, of her eponymous coordination and styling firm, delivered an ultra chic installation and homage to Green Acre Campus Pointe at our Engaged event this month.
Here, she shares the must-have elements to replicate the artistic result, the most challenging facets of doing it herself, plus the players and parts that made it possible
What were some of the details you had to incorporate to bring Green Acre Campus Pointe to life?
Everything about Green Acre is fresh. I wanted our table to have fresh new content. The coconuts, gold leaf touches, and leather chairs elevated an otherwise simple, elegant tablescape to a funky look that we were certainly shooting for.
What was the most challenging part of styling this?
The coconuts took much longer to dry than expected! We were thinking it would take two to three days but rather it took almost a week. Daniela stayed up very late in the night making it happen.
What’s your favorite vignette from this installation?
I love Daniela’s art—that was my muse for this installation.
