The Bride Tribe Guide 2018

San Diego brides are spoiled with celebratory hot spots to hit up during their bachelorette weekend. Here, we take the guesswork out of when and where to get down with your girls around town (sash and party favors not included).

Friday

Afternoon

The out-of-towners have landed and your local girlfriends have clocked out for the day. It’s time to check in at The Pendry. The ultra-chic boutique hotel in the heart of downtown has a rooftop pool made for lounging even into the evening. And cocktail service? Check.

Evening

For dinner, it’s all aboard Hornblower Cruises’ San Diego Dinner Cruise. Dine on a multi-course meal with skyline views from the bay, then head straight to the dance floor after dessert for some pre-party fun before dropping anchor to continue the night bar-hopping around downtown.

Saturday

Morning

Flow into your jam-packed Saturday with a stop for Yoga & Mimosas at The Westgate Hotel’s AquaVie wellness club from 9 to 10 a.m. The 60-minute vinyasa class meets on the rooftop pool deck, with complimentary mats available, followed by a bit of bubbly after you say “namaste.”

Daytime

Sip through San Diego’s craft beer scene one pit stop at a time with Brewery Tours of San Diego. The family-owned company has partnerships with nearly 40 breweries and distilleries and offers public tours with other beer enthusiasts or private tours for a more customized experience. Bottoms up!

Evening

Bring your appetite for dinner at The Patio on Goldfinch in Mission Hills. You’ll definitely want a reservation and to save room for an after-dinner libation—the Last Bond Girl and the chocolate martini are worth a try—to transition into a party state of mind for your final night in the single life.

Sunday

Morning

Soak up the rest of your memories—and some rays—at Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa’s Sunday Champagne Brunch at Oceana Coastal Kitchen, which serves up sweet and savory plates with panoramic views of the bay for days.

Afternoon

They say to save the best for last, and that’s exactly what Everyday Grace Massage has. Opt for the Peace Retreat, which comes to your group and offers customized massages, yoga, and acupuncture. You’ll be feeling light as feather before parting ways until the big day!
