Deanna and Trevor’s Blissful Walnut Grove Wedding

Deanna and Trevor never abided to the ignorance is bliss adage when it came to their feelings. From their first encounter freshman year of college, they each had an inkling they’d eventually share a last name—his, which is Bliss.

After their initial collegiate meeting, the two kept running into each other, and when they both started working the same on campus job, they finally became fast friends.

They started officially dating in 2011, and then, in February 2016, Trevor asked Deanna a very important question while they were in Chinatown in San Francisco. Spoiler alert: She said yes!

Their wedding day was packed full of thoughtful details, like Deanna’s two beautiful dresses from BHLDN (simple and fitted for the ceremony, and lace with long sleeves for the reception), and the gorgeous wildflower and succulent bouquets, styled by a family friend.

The stunning backdrop of The Walnut Grove near Thousand Oaks perfectly reflected the couple’s boho chic wedding vision. After the heartwarming outdoor reception, the newlyweds’ family and friends celebrated with food by Command Performance and, of course, lots of dancing!

Just like Trevor’s last name, the big day was a dreamy commemoration of the brand new Mr. and Mrs.—and certainly many more years of, you guessed it, bliss.
