Jennifer and Jonathan took an unconventional route to happily ever after—they had planned to move in together as strangers. He was to be her Craigslist roommate and landlord until, in due time before her move in, they realized their feelings and he said, “I think there’s something special between us. Why don’t I give you your deposit back, you can find another place to live, and I’ll take you on a proper date?” A few years of going steady later, they put down a new deposit—this time on a house—and he proposed. When it came time to plan the big day, they found themselves with just five months to spare. “We were thinking of having our wedding next spring,” Jennifer says, “but once we toured Forever and Always Farm, we realized we couldn’t wait. The only date available was June ninth!” Twisted timelines aside, the Temecula affair was an entirely proper date indeed.
Just You Two
“It is the one day that’s all about you and your spouse, so make it your own,” Jennifer says.
In Good Company
“That’s the most amazing thing about a wedding… the fact that every loved one near and far makes a great effort to come and celebrate one of the most important moments in your adult life. It’s overwhelmingly poetic.”
Forever and Always Farm, with its rolling hills of roses and lavender, evoked a special blend of their countryside upbringings—his in France and hers in Washington—along with some bonus alpacas.
