Pop the champagne! We have a new cover to celebrate.
Our December/January cover is on newsstands now and gracing it is one of our most creative styled shoots to date and at one of our favorite locales, Fazeli Cellars.
Inspired by the Moorish architecture of the venue, Michelle Garibay, creative director and lead consultant at Michelle Garibay Events, helped bring the vision to fruition, with one goal in mind: “something that makes you go, ‘wait look.’”
Our model’s arm candy (beyond the groom) was just the ticket. Set against the Temecula vines and styled by Tre Fiori Floral Studio, the blend of ranunculus, unripened blueberries, and blushing bride proteas fashioned into wearable florals rightfully stole the shot—er, cover.
“Bouquets are beautiful, but it’s cool to do something different,” says Lisa Montecinos, owner of Tre Fiori, adding a piece of advice for wide-eyed brides looking to replicate the look: “Consider what side of the aisle you’re standing on when you’re taking your vows. You want it to be seen in pictures, not just to the officiant!”
Or in this instance, to be seen on the cover. Watch the talented team’s reaction when we revealed the issue to them for the first time.
Now, back to that bubbly… cheers!
