Ironically, La Broi and Laura’s first encounter resembled that of a married couple of several years—driving a minivan full of kids to Joshua Tree National Park as part of a work trip. Four years later, with that memory in the rearview, La Broi wasted no time popping the question once they moved into their first home together. “After all the furniture was placed and bags unpacked, La Broi proposed on a warm summer night in our backyard,” Laura recalls. “It was the perfect way to start our journey together.” The couple’s charming outdoor ceremony at Estancia La Jolla centered around bringing their friends and family together, as evidenced by a sign that read, “Pick a seat, not a side, you’re loved by both the groom and bride!” And as the couple themselves say, “There was something so special about having so many people who we love dearly together in the same place.
La Broi designed his own suit for the big day.
Pour it On
During the ceremony, La Broi and Laura poured pink and white sand into an hourglass to symbolize their everlasting bond.
All In on “I Do”
“We loved seeing friends and family meet, connect, and share with one another. We could truly feel the love surrounding us as we said ‘I do.’”
