In hindsight, Bree and Mike say, they wish their first dance had been to Rihanna’s “We Found Love” (with its refrain “We found love in a hopeless place”), because, in Bree’s words, “There are few things more hopeless than a fraternity party.” That’s where they first met but, fortunately, Mike’s proposal was more promising. He coordinated a pampered weekend for Bree in San Diego, with shopping and pedicures, and then popped the question near the water. Their wedding at Temecula Creek Inn was equally spectacular. When they had their first kiss as husband and wife, cannons shot rose petals over them, a surprise to everyone—even the couple!
The guest list and bridal party was relatively star studded, with some of Bree’s Miss America sisters (she was Miss California 2015) and a former cast member of ABC’s The Bachelor, Sarah Vendal.
Forever Memories
“Mike and I joke on a daily basis, ‘Can we do it again?’ Our wedding day was for sure the best day of both of our lives, so far.”
