It was love at first click for Billy and Mackinzie—they met through an online dating app. After a year of dating, Billy popped the question while the couple was on a romantic gondola ride off Coronado Island. The wedding blended the bride and groom’s personalities as smoothly as tequila and lime. It was held at a working horse ranch (Mackinzie is a professional horse trainer) and with no shortage of toasts with Tequila Fortaleza (Billy’s family’s company). The gents sported shirts with tiny lavender horseshoes to match the table decorations and venue, but it was Mackinzie, of course, who stole the night in her lace-and-gem-encrusted dress.
Shine Bright
The “Happily Ever After” marquee was the perfect backdrop to the reception—and many of the guests’ Instagrams, too!
Inspired by the French countryside, Billy and Mackinzie chose The Ranch at Bandy Canyon for its cascading vines and subtle blooms that spoke so true to their wedding vision.
