Erin and Gianna’s Los Angeles Highland Park Bowl Wedding

Brides kiss in the background of the bowling alley

These two La La Land-based TV writers met during a show they were working on in 2015. A couple years later, their own love story brought them to LA’s Highland Park Bowl, where they made history holding the first-ever wedding at the bowling alley. The “old timey feel” of the lanes was a true reflection of the brides’ old-fashioned personalities. “We listen to Dolly Parton, bluegrass, and country rock instead of the top 40,” they say. “We also sometimes joke our wedding would be like an 8-year-old’s birthday party with bowling, pizza, and an ice cream truck.” With all those things included and then some—like Erin’s Jamie Elyse gown and Gianna’s Dennis Kim suit that once belonged to Ellen DeGeneres—their day was as perfect as their bowling scores.
