It wasn’t just the candy that was sweet at the Halloween party where Bronson and Mykella met—Bronson was dressed up as Aunt Jemima, clad with pancakes and shots of syrup! He gravitated toward the pirate in the room, Mykella, marking the first chapter of their love story that could tug at the heartstrings of even vampires and zombies.
Amid their year of long distance dating, Mykella was greeted with a surprise upon returning home to San Francisco from a work trip. She opened the front door to find Bronson waiting with 3,000 rose petals, candles, and their favorite song playing. Of course, she said yes!
In a sunset ceremony at Scripps Seaside Forum, the couple said their vows as the sun set.
“As I walked down the aisle, I could see my husband smiling at me, the ocean waves, blue skies, and amazing sunset. It was such a perfect moment,” Mykella says.
Recalling that she held Bronson’s hand throughout the whole evening, she adds, “Ultimately, it’s about you and your spouse—everyone else is just icing on the cake.”
A forever sweet romance, indeed!
