Alexa and Mark were just meant to be… though, it took a little convincing. A mutual friend introduced them, and after a couple of dates, they mutually decided that they were supposed to be just friends.
Finally, years later, over a glass of wine, they surrendered to the spark and never left each other’s side. A year later, Mark proposed at the summit of Kenter Whoops Trail, the site of one of their early hiking dates.
At their chicly coastal wedding, Alexa was stunning in her J. Mendel gown and Mark stunned their guests—and the bride—by finishing his vows with “I love you” in her native language of Romanian.
Later, they danced the night away in Casa Del Mar‘s exquisite ballroom.
But the newlyweds agreed that the best part of their day was the end of the night when they “ordered $200 worth of room service and popped a bottle of Champagne given to us by Dane (the guy that introduced us).”
