One Palm Springs Wedding Done Two Different Ways

You know Palm Springs for its old Hollywood charms and mid-century flair, but there’s more to the desert wedding destination than meets the first glance from behind your sunglasses.

Tiana Loyd for Michelle Garibay Events taught us so in a modern-day revamping of the desert oasis, styling two wedding shoots at Riviera Palm Springs in two ways.

Take 1: The let your hair down.

Mint green backdrops and stark lines juxtapose lush palms and bold blooms in the first shoot.

Paired with a groom in a dapper patterned suit by Suitivo, the bride’s encrusted gown top from The Dress Theory and down ’do, thanks to Kelly Cardenas Saloon Weddings, is totally true to why we love Palm Springs in the first place—it forever suggests you let your hair down.

Take 2: The done up.

Mother Nature was left to do the decorating in the second shoot. Greenery runs wild in florals by Soiree Floral Design and, of course, the backdrop of the Riviera Palm Springs’s outdoor area.

The groom, clad in a clean black suit, and bride crushing a more classic look goes against the desert town’s sandy grain—proving that, yes, you can be done up and traditional, too, in Palm Springs.
