Some things are built to stand the test of time. At least, that’s how Ingrid and Patrick’s story goes.
A decade after a break up—with each other!—they ended up back in San Diego… and in love once more. A summer proposal on the patio of the Hotel del Coronado sealed the deal, and a pitcher of margaritas among the couple and their friends marked the celebration.
They opted for a colorful affair at the private Bankers Hill’s estate, Casa De Glory.
“We were totally drawn in by the home’s exceptional design, bold colors, striking artwork, exquisite details, and fantastic backyard with a pool,” Ingrid says. “We thought it was the perfect place for our guests to mix, mingle, and party with us on our special day.”
And special it was, filled with their favorite people and pets, too—their three dogs, Simon, Fritz, and Abby.
“Looking back, we are happy we didn’t try to conform to tradition and instead made every decision based on who we were as a couple and what we loved,” the bride adds. “I still have bouts of that post wedding blues.”
