Just like fine wine, some things really do get better with time. After almost three years of being neighbors at Chico State but never talking, Doug and Kelsey finally were introduced during drinks with mutual friends. A dozen years later, Doug planned a secret proposal far from their original stomping grounds—in Thailand. They chose Scripps Seaside Forum for a beautiful ceremony overlooking the Pacific and a family-style feast complete with his-and-hers cocktails—an Old Fashioned and vodka soda with a splash of grapefruit juice, respectively. Cheers to that and the happy couple!
Married and Bright
“Our color palette included a pop of navy blue and rose gold—touches of our bold and playful sides,” Kelsey says.
