Bryan and Jessica’s Festive Puerto Vallarta Wedding

Bride with bridesmaids in dresses of different shades of teal

Bryan will be the first to tell you that persistence really does pay off when it comes to love. After meeting Jessica while waiting in line to enter a club in Washington, D.C., he asked her out once a week for three months before she finally said yes. She said yes again when he dropped to one knee on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to ask her to marry him. Their Puerto Vallarta wedding was a pull-out-all-the-stops affair, doubling as a vacation for not only the newlyweds but also their guests. The bridal party reached the island by speed boat and the guests were brought by yacht. But the moment the bride and groom will never forget? The first look—and tequila shot to soak it in. Salud!

When in Mexico…

In step with their destination, the bride and groom served tequila shots at their reception.

Sit Back and Relax

“We loved doing a destination wedding because we got so much longer to spend time with our loved ones,” Jessica says. “We highly recommend hiring an awesome destination wedding photographer to spend the whole time with you.”
