Emily and Michael’s Beachy Coronado Wedding

couple smiling at sunset in Coronado

By Jordan Lemke

Most days, you can find Emily at the beach with her dog, Dee, who will be digging holes in the sand. The holes came in handy when, after a year of dating, Michael asked Emily to marry him. “He got down on one knee in one of Dee’s holes and proposed—while she was still digging!” Emily says. The family of three—Dee, of course, included—sealed their happily ever after with a wedding by the San Diego Bay, close to their reception at Coronado’s Peohe’s. Much like the moon in the sky that night, the couple’s hearts were totally full.
