Abigail and Chris’s Magical Malibu Canyon Wedding

It’s an understatement to say Abigail and Chris were on cloud nine during their wedding day. The couple was in the azure, atop Malibu Canyon with views cast over the Pacific and across the San Fernando Valley.

“We wanted to marry each other high in the sky surrounded only by our closest family and friends,” Abigail says.

She, a former Dallas Cowboy’s cheerleader and actress famed for roles in Transformers and Code Black, and he, a sports agent at Wasserman Media Group, envisioned an intimate vineyard setting with a cozy-chic ambiance.

SoCal’s so-adored Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyard struck the balance, while richly saturated garden roses, peonies, and dahlias to mimic the Pinot Noir poured during dinner nailed it.

Guests dined poolside at oversized farmhouse tables, modernly accented by ghost chairs in lucite. Personalized olive oil favors from Blue Door Olive Oil—their tops dipped in wax to match the color of the linen napkins—crowned the vintage dinnerware.

A stone helipad served as the ceremony site, over which a drone manned by Robert Michael Films captured the evening and the especially awe-inspiring golden glow at sundown.

“That sunset was a divine moment,” the bride recollects. “It took our breath away.”
