What are some traits that define you?
Organized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and timely.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Actually, my fur-kids, Bono and Lucy!
Where is your favorite place to be?
A Chicago Blackhawks game! I’m a huge Blackhawks fan. It doesn’t matter where, as long as I’m with friends. In San Diego, I also love the zoo and Balboa park.
Your job in three words.
Unique. Exciting. Delicious!
What do you love about your job?
My clients’ stories: how they met, what they do, finding out about their lives and families, and creating a relationship with them.
The wedding trend I am obsessed with right now is:
Rose quartz. Pink is my signature color. I was a little late to the rose gold-everything train. But the geodes, I’m on board with, especially rose quartz.
What San Diego wedding venue do you adore or would love to work at?
Aside from Hornblower? Oh dear, that’s tough to beat. I’d have to say either Scripps Seaside Forum or the world-famous San Diego Zoo.
Who is a San Diego wedding vendor you admire and why?
Kenner & Sons Florists. The ladies there are friendly, flexible and funny! I just love them to pieces.
What is your most beloved wedding and details?
Because of my personal connection with the bride, I’ll have to say Jennifer Brown and Jake Lopez. Jennifer was one of Hornblower’s sales coordinators, and her wedding was breathtaking!
What’s your go-to motto?
An oldie but goodie: Teamwork makes the dream work. It’s never one person who pulls off all of these amazing events we do. I love my team—in the office and on-board crew!
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
Once upon a time, I was an aspiring opera singer. I studied classical voice for 12 years.
