It was the summer of 2013 when Danielle Hansen, now 29, and Ian Dyche, now 35, met on the rooftop of the downtown Los Angeles apartment building they were both living in. Two and a half years later, and six weeks after the birth of their son, Ian lit candles in their bedroom, got down on one knee, and presented Danielle with “the most perfect engagement ring,” asking her to become his wife. The couple, who now live in San Diego’s Mission Hills neighborhood, got married at The O’Donnell House in Palm Springs last fall, with a rich color palette that played off the desert surroundings, in the presence of their closest friends and family.
“I’ve always envisioned deep, rich, and romantic colors for my wedding,” Danielle says about her main big-day inspiration.
Sweet details polished off the bride’s stunning look.
“My first thought was that it just felt like me,” Danielle says about her lace and silk crepe Sarah Seven gown from The Dress Theory. “The overall look was a contemporary silhouette with vintage details.”
