It was a match made in heaven—or more specifically, a hospital—when Cailey Lushanko, an intensive care unit RN, met Kevin Biegler, a clinical pharmacist at work in Redlands, California. The two hit it off and when Kevin won four tickets to the Masters, he invited Cailey’s parents (the bride says she and her family are “huge golf people”), knowing it would make the perfect opportunity to propose.
The couple married near Cailey’s San Diego hometown at Rancho Valencia, where they recited vows they wrote themselves and danced to their first song (Rascal Flatts’s “God Bless the Broken Road”) in front of 100 guests before honeymooning in Turks and Caicos.
“I wanted our wedding to be romantic and timeless, but still reflect a little of the season we had chosen,” Cailey says. “We went with some deep red tones and added some blush and neutrals.”
Kevin was so shaky when he proposed to Cailey on a bridge over a pond at a historic Georgia plantation, he almost dropped the engagement ring in the water! Luckily he didn’t, because what a stunner.
