Brittany Heap and Matt Williams’s romance began under the stars in Indio, California, when they slow danced to the last song of Brooks & Dunn’s set at the 2010 Stagecoach Festival, where they’d met through a mutual friend. Six years later, SoCal native Matt proposed to Southern girl Brittany on a trip to her sister’s graduation in South Carolina, where her whole family was in on the surprise.
The 26-year-olds, who now live in Beaumont, California, tied the knot at Oak Glen’s Serendipity Gardens, where 80 guests were treated to a taco bar, signature sangria, and classic margaritas.
The couple’s favorite moment came during their sparkler dance, Brittany says, “soaking in the view of everyone we loved in one place smiling, laughing, dancing with their sparklers high in the sky, and celebrating us!”
A pegboard stocked with donuts from Elise Cakes kept partygoers fortified into the night.
“I wanted a lot of greenery, surrounded by big white flowers, with a touch of antique decor that could have come straight out of Cinderella’s castle,” Brittany says.
The invitation suite, created by Jolie & Co. gave simple, romantic hints about the ethereal look of the event to come.
