For Irvine couple Rachel Linder, 32, and Robert Chan, 31, there are too many memorable moments from their November wedding to pick just one. But for the bride, the most poignant part of the ceremony was when her aunt read a poem originally written for her own wedding, 30 years prior, by Rachel’s late grandfather. After the emotional nuptials, 200 guests ate grilled sirloin, salmon, and late- night carne asada fries; enjoyed the open bar; watched Rachel’s father dance-battle the groom; and got down to Robert’s favorite music, Daft Punk, on the dance floor.
“I really liked the ‘dusty blue’ look,” Rachel says. “To me it felt like a whimsical, romantic color.”
“I loved all of the windows, the high ceilings, and the wood floors,” Rachel says of the venue’s reception area. “It felt so open and beautiful.”
