We have a beautiful Mammoth real wedding for you! Julia and Sean are from San Diego and wanted to get married in the snow. Mammoth has always been a special place for them, so they decided to tie the knot at Mammoth Mountain Inn on January 7, 2017. 

They wanted snow — and boy, did they get it. Mammoth happened to get hit by one of its biggest storms during Julia and Sean’s wedding weekend. Reports claimed 20 feet of snow! It snowed all wedding day and the entire weekend. 

Julia got ready in a gorgeous chalet at Mammoth Mountain Inn. Her bridesmaids were adorned in glitter and lace, and Julia wore a swoon-worthy dress by Hayley Paige. Her bouquet was a mix of pine cones and roses.

Both Julia and Sean loved the idea of taking photos out in the snow for their first look and creatives — even though it was chilly, wet, and snowing. They braved the elements, icy driveways, and wet hair, and the results were some beautiful (and fun) shots! 

The ceremony was held at the Atrium Room, at the bottom of a ski lift. Hand warmers were provided for all the guests to stay warm and cozy.

Up until a few hours before the wedding, guests waited on the weather report to determine where exactly the reception was taking place, as the planned spot was only accessible via a gondola that would not run in certain extreme weather conditions. Luckily the wind calmed down and the couple was given the green light to ride up the mountain to their reception with all of their guests, champagne in tow!

The night ended with a surprise visit from Woolly, Mammoth’s mascot, and the cutest sparkler exit.
