5 Bridesmaid Dress Trends for 2017 You’ll Fall in Love With

Let’s talk bridesmaid dresses! We met up with Conni Jespersen, the San Diego fashion blogger behind Art in the Find. Conni shared with us her favorite 2017 bridesmaid dress trends. Get ready to take notes, brides!

As a bride, picking out dresses for your bridesmaids is just one part of the many choices you’ll be making for your big day. Traditionally, the bride chooses one style of dress for all her bridesmaids. But in 2017, women are feeling more empowered to have their bridesmaids show off a bit more individual character and style.

Here are some bridesmaid dress trends that are making their way down the runways and into weddings all over the country this year.

1 | lighter color palettes | Not just for spring anymore, a lighter color palette is making a big comeback for every season. From pastels and lighter blues to muted/dusty tones, pastel color palettes works beautifully.

2 | solids mixed with prints | If some of your bridesmaids are bold and love a great print but others feel more comfortable in solids, a great solution is to mix in a few solid dresses with printed dresses.  This mix makes the dresses look fresh without having everyone wearing the exact same thing.

3 | unique dresses for each bridesmaid | because we all come in different sizes and body types, why not give your bridesmaids the freedom to wear a dress unique to them.  You can give them a palette of 2-3 colors to choose between and see what great dresses they pick out.

4 | floral boho | Not new to the bridal scene but definitely here in full force this year, the floral boho combo is a great bridesmaid option. Think off-the-shoulder mixed with a long flowing maxi dress and you’ve got one ethereal group of ladies.

5 | two piece outfits | Because all of your lovely ladies have slightly varied body types, two piece outfits give you the freedom of switching up the tops and bottoms.
