When Eric Leboffe, 28, and Paige Chrisman, 26, played mini golf on their first date back in 2014, the loser had to treat the victor to Cold Stone ice cream. But we’re pretty sure they both ended up winners. After a helicopter ride from Long Beach to Catalina Island, Eric proposed to Paige (with a ring he designed himself!) on the beach, not far from Lover’s Cove. The couple had a “sunny spring garden wedding” six months later at the Vista Valley Country Club, where 150 guests ate a delicious array of hors d’oeuvres and sipped sangria and Prohibition beer.

“We wanted something laid back, like us,” Paige says. They settled on an oudoor, cocktail mixer–style celebration, The groom’s nieces were the couple’s flower girls.
