Escondido Real Wedding: Christina and Mike

Thirty-year-old Christina and 35-year-old Mike met in Navy training in 2009. The two started dating shortly thereafter, but with duty stations on opposite sides of the world (Christina in Bahrain and Mike in California), their relationship began as a long-distance romance. Mike proposed in 2013 in New York’s Central Park, and the couple, who now live in Los Angeles, got hitched in front of 90 guests at Escondido’s Ranch at Bandy Canyon. Christina wore a beaded Maggie Sottero dress that matched the elegant chic style of their ranch wedding.

The couple loved the natural look of The Ranch at Bandy Canyon. “They have some landscaping but it’s not overdone or too manicured,” says Christina. “You really just feel the beauty of nature.”
