Emily Sharp, 30, and Sean O’Connor, 33, met when Emily, a hospitality marketing director, moved into the Boston brownstone where Sean, an attorney, was living with three other guys. Within a few weeks their roommate relationship became a romantic one. After Sean proposed on the beach in Aruba, the East Coasters threw a destination wedding at a beautiful organic farm in San José del Cabo, Mexico, where, says Emily, “the carrot margaritas are freshly juiced and the people’s smiles warm your heart.”
South of the border“When looking for a venue, we wanted something to embody what’s special to us,” Emily remembers. “Something adventurous and vibrantly unexpected, a venue that burst with natural beauty.” San José del Cabo’s Flora Farm was just the place.
“Flora Farm is already such a magical and gorgeous place,” Emily says, “that I wanted to be sure the colors I chose complemented its natural beauty.”
FARM to table“Everything that we ate came straight out of the farm, picked fresh that day,” Emily says. Guests dined on fresh-baked bread, seasonal salad, oven-roasted chicken, the catch of the day, roasted veggies, and pasta, all served up family style.
