Inspired by vintage details, Pure Lavish Events created a gorgeous styled wedding photoshoot with re-purposed décor that is over 100 years old, a gorgeous consignment wedding gown, and floral inspiration from the early 1900s including rosemary and organic baby kale. The historic Hotel Temecula was the ideal location for this photoshoot with vintage furniture, props and dishware. The vintage table was set with china, wine glasses, dessert bowls, silverware, candlestick holders, a hand crochet runner and a simple, but beautiful floral design.
For rentals from Signature Party Rentals, they chose lilac goblets to add a pop of color to the setting (which paired well with the blooming Wisteria) and ivory napkins for the guests to use.
Paper Villa Stationery channeled the early 1900s by sifting thru some of the letters from the hotel’s mail room to design an invitation suite that felt like receiving a piece of history postmarked during a simpler time. She used parchment paper in which she hand burned to give the paper texture and an old-world feel. She chose a calligraphy font to preserve the time period. She scanned old envelopes and letters to create a composite insert for the invitation’s envelope interior. As an added accent, she then folded and tied each invite with a white lace ribbon.
For dessert, Laura Marie’s Cakes created a custom piping white cake, which was placed on a vintage stand and then a historic serving tray from the hotel dining room. She also added a wine glass between tiers to give the cake more height and dimension.
Tre Fiori Florals researched flowers that were commonly used at weddings during the 1900s to make the feel even more authentic. She found that bouquets were actually assembled using herbs from the garden and flowers that grew on their land.
The bride’s make-up included a dark purple smoky eye, eyelash extensions, a light magenta lip color and blush to highlight her bone structure. For hair, Nancy Vestal did an elegant style pulled back to compliment the shape of the dress and show off the peek-a-boo back.
