Styled Shoot: Mexicali Wedding Inspiration

We love the beauty that can happen with natural light, lush foliage and fun colors! This styled shoot is inspired by the prominent Mexican influence of San Diego’s culture. Love Marks The Spot‘s vision was to combine California’s laid-back essence with Mexico’s bold and colorful nature. The end result is a clean, vivid aesthetic bursting with color.

Brittney Nemerow of Fox Floral Design used brightly colored peonies, ranunculus, dahlias, garden roses and anemones. She also mixed in protea, pin cushion and blue acacia for some unexpected texture additions. The outdoor wedding venue Quail Haven Farm in Vista was a great backdrop for the color palette. The colored glassware on the table design, some sourced from Mexico by Cheri’s Vintage Table, added texture to each place setting and complimented the flowers. And last but not least, Jenny Wenny Cakes hand painted the colorful sugar skulls on the cake and the paper picado cutouts on the lower tier were a great playful addition.
