Our June/July issue is officially on newsstands and we could hardly wait to share the new cover with you! This adorable couple had great chemistry on and off camera (they’re models + dating) and we loved the moments between them captured by White Haute Photography. The talented sister duo behind SoCal Hair and Makeup made our “bride and groom” look flawless in every shot.

Our fashion stylist Kristi Brooks looks at fashion trends for inspiration for wedding style. We love this about her! Crop tops and high waists are so popular right now. This bridal look was an instant favorite of ours and oh so cover worthy. It is actually three separate pieces: a top, a skirt, and a huge sash from Archive Bridal. The soft pink color pairs perfectly with the burgundy jacket on the groom and eye-catching bouquet by Bespoke.

Our creative director Laurie Nicoud was obsessed with the geometric greenery wall against the downtown San Diego Marriott. We knew we had to use it. This wedding look and location was the very first shot of our photoshoot day. It doesn’t always work out the first is the cover image, but in this case we are so glad it did!
