Carlsbad residents Bree Marshall, 26, and Greg Hueners, 30, were introduced by a mutual friend on New Year’s Eve five years ago, and they started dating a few months later. Greg proposed in Bree’s parents’ backyard before celebrating the night with friends and family who were there to watch. “He had the song ‘You Are So Beautiful’ playing in the background, which my father used to sing to me as a baby,” Bree recalls. The two celebrated their outdoor wedding with a 140-guest reception at The Santaluz Club.
Wide Open Spaces The couple wanted an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. “We fell in love with the big green lawn we got married on,” recalls Bree.
