For this couple, falling in love at the beach set the precedent for wanting to say “I Do” with their toes in the sand. This Hotel Del Coronado real wedding took a historic place, a stunning beach, and created an unforgettable wedding experience!

The wedding ceremony itself was a little more toned down, allowing complementing décor against the stunning Coronado beach. The beachfront cocktail reception had lounge furniture and umbrellas with a guitarist strumming away in the background. “The string quartet sounded beautiful with the crashing waves and ocean wind,” recalled Molly. The pink and white floral arrangements complemented the off white sandy beach and grey rock wall.

As the day went on, the dazzle turned up. The reception inside the Hotel Del took beach chic and turned it into a glamorous fairytale evening. With a custom white monogrammed dance floor, tall and lush centerpieces draped with crystals, and the iconic Hotel Del crown chandelier, this reception was fit for a princess! Molly loved the paper elements by Wendy Ware Designer saying, “she combined the elegant and sophistication from my background of being from The South with our love of the beach (use of watercolor and the color scheme) to my vision of mixing glamour, sparkle with some whimsical aspects- they carried throughout and were truly beautiful.”
