Follow Kirsten & Eric through their colorful coastal wedding day in this gallery photographed by True Photography.
Today’s couple Kirsten & Eric hosted their wedding on the iconic Silver Strand Beach on Coronado Island, with the expert coordination of Creative Affairs, and many other vendors we love. After growing up on the island Kirsten knew always knew that Coronado was where she wanted to get married. When the couple found out that Eric had also spent his Spring Breaks vacationing with family on Coronado, they were set on Silver Strand. The bride Kirsten mused, “[It was] so special to think we may have crossed paths all those years ago, without even realizing it.” We can all attest to the wonderful ways that fate intersects our lives!
The Bruners transitioned their day beautifully from a sunny ceremony to an evening under the stars. A floral adorned gazebo served as the altar and the party continued in a giant beach tent. The wedding ended with a cozy gathering by a beach campfire. They even had S’mores! (How many times do you think the joke “No, I love you S’more!” was said?) All together, from start to finish Kirsten remarked that their coastal wedding day was “magical and heavenly” and that sentiment was echoed by every guest.
Enjoy a sneak peek of their wedding day below and maybe, just maybe, get inspired to plan your own coastal wedding. There’s nothing like sunny skies, the ocean breeze and peace of mind as you bury your toes in the sand.
