Engagement Photos: Fairytale Engagement

We’re cruising up the coast to Laguna Beach for a whimsical fairytale engagement shoot.Simply put, Megan and Robert absolutely killed it with their engagement photo shoot. They wanted engagement photos that read like a storybook and played out the theme with every detail, starting with Victoria Beach in Laguna. This tower in the sand is an icon on the California coast and is a coveted photo spot for couples from all over. “La Tour” – French for Tower – was built in the 1920s as a way for nearby estate owners who wanted access the beach from their backyard. Now it serves as a surreal backdrop for tourists and engaged couples alike. I bet Rapunzel would have far preferred this beach beauty to her solitary castle!

Megan and Robert held true to theme with their pastel attire. The soft palette contrasts beautiful with the sea rock and plays beautiful with the soft Golden Hour and sunset hues. The wonderfully skilled photographer Maria Longhi proved brilliance with the camera as she captured every tender moment and soft glance, without being washed out by the bring Cali sunshine. Not an easy task, but the results are truly exquisite!

Everything in this photo shoot – from the perfectly clear weather, to the life-sized sand castle, and even to that stunner of an engagement ring – is fit for a princess.
