Torrey Pines Real Wedding: Tiffany & Nikolas

Golf lovers rejoice! Today’s sophisticated golf-themed wedding at The Lodge at Torrey Pines hits the sweet spot.

Tiffany and Nikolas, both lifelong fans of golf, had their hearts set on incorporating it into their big day. Step one in this process, like most engaged couples, was picking the venue. San Diego offers many incredible golf courses, but the Torrey Pines course is a glorified green for pros, amateurs and wedding planners alike. With its coastal location, sweeping ocean views and esteemed conjoined establishment The Lodge, this wedding venue was a no-brainer for the Adells.

Hard as I may try, I am a golfing novice and would fall short of using the right golf lingo in this post. That said, before I embarrass myself with ill-formed golf puns, let me tell you a few other features we love about this wedding!

Simple Sophistication

Every inch of this wedding is immaculately styled. However, while some weddings scream opulence with decadent desserts, glittering table settings and wedding gowns that make the Queen of England jealous, the Adell’s wedding speaks in a whisper. Tiffany’s sleek Nicole Miller gowns and delicate jewelry show off her  natural beauty. It’s clear that she is comfortable throughout the entire day. The color scheme and decor also display an outstanding ease and comfort. Clean whites, organic greens, soft pinks, deep navy and an assortment of seating invite guests to relax and enjoy the celebrations.

Personality

Branching off the first point, the simplicity of design allows Tiffany and Nikolas’ personalities to take center stage. When working with your wedding planner to style your wedding it is important to make sure every detail helps you shine. Your wedding is day is about YOU as a couple! Take a hint from the Adells and weave your favorite hobbies or interests into the decor as much as possible. This could be the venue, the stationary, the food, or all of the above. Check out their adorable golf memorabilia below!

Fun – Together!

It was nearly impossible to find a photo in this album where people weren’t smiling. We love that the Adells, and so many other couples, remember to have fun on their wedding day! Tiffany and Nikolas also made sure to spend time alone together between the ceremony and reception. They did this with portraits, a quiet garden stroll and even a quick trip to the green for a few good-hearted swings.
