The Bride, Tatjana, and the Groom, Mihajlo, met in San Diego in 2012 through a mutual friend. Both come from Serbian background while the bride also spent many years in Russia. After 3 years of dating they got engaged.
They held an intimate wedding ceremony and reception in comfort and familiarity of their home. Everyone contributed to the event in his or her own way, making it very personable and memorable. The couple incorporated Serbian and Russian traditions, such as glass breaking and breaking the loaf of bread in two, and foods (with an American twist) -from Russian borsht to Serbian sarma. Their favorite part of the wedding was sitting at a table with all of their guests, enjoying the wine and food over wonderful conversations.
