Gretta Tufvesson, 35, and Craig Stack, 40, met in the summer of 2011 while on Craig’s boat with a bunch of mutual friends, near Shelter Island, New York.
Three years later, when the two stopped during a hike to rest at a bluff, Craig got down on one knee and popped the question. The couple, now based in La Jolla, decided to hold their wedding at The Parker Palm Springs because it’s one of their favorite spots for a weekend getaway, and they knew they could count on good weather.
