It didn’t take much more than some “incredible dance moves” for Michael Marsch to capture Seanna Grob’s eye back at a party in high school (she went to La Jolla High and he attended Bishops).
Years passed and the two later found their way back to each other with the help of her number jotted down on a yellow Post-it note–which Michael still has–and a run in at a party after they had both graduated from their respective colleges. After a 2012 proposal in Maui, Seanna and Michael planned a festival Mexico wedding that they now look back on as the best day of their lives. —JESSICA SCHNEIDER
The Venue
Hacienda Beach Club & Residences, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Weekend Activities
A welcome party at the Baja Brewing Company on the Cabo Villas Beach Resort and Spa rooftop, a morning surfing expedition, and a CaboMar Sunset Cruise for dinner, dancing, and cocktails.
Dress Notes
Seanna says she knew the Lazaro “LZ3 102” stunner was the one the moment her mother zipped it up for the first time. She admits that the hardest part wasn’t choosing the dress, but having to eventually take it off.
At the Reception
Guests enjoyed Mexican cuisine paired with the couples’ favorite tamarind margaritas and, of course, a mariachi band.
