Dramatic ruins are hard to come by in Southern California, which makes The Great Stone Church at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, destroyed in an earthquake in the 1800’s, a photographer’s dream backdrop.

“We love the juxtaposition between the massive relic and a beautiful, modern couple,” says photographer Dustin Harden of True Photography Weddings, who took this photo of Irvine residents Jeannie Garcia and husband Chris Edwards.

Chris whispered “I love you, Mrs. Edwards,” right before leaning in for a kiss. Swoon!
