Planning your engagement shoot should be a fun and exciting activity for any soon-to-be bride and groom. To help avoid unwanted stress or nerves, we recommend choosing an engagement photo location that is familiar and fun. Read below on how one couple ditched any awkward moments, sweaty palms and nervous butterflies by picking meaningful spots for their engagement photo location shoot with Amy Lynn Photography.
A little background on the couple
If you’re thinking finding love at a bar is impossible, meet Will and Laura. In 2011 they both were celebrating Cinco de Mayo in Pacific Beach, CA. “After eating an epic grilled cheese sammie at PB Shore Club, I noticed something across the bar… a finger mustache and a smiling face,” said Laura. After making her laugh, Will finally approached the 4-inch heeled “Amazon Woman.” After that, they were inseparable.
Engagement shoot locations
PB Shore Club | Pacific Beach
Since Laura and Will met at this beach-side hangout, it immediately set the stage for a great photo shoot in the exact spot where they met on the North end of the bar. Shore Club will always be a special San Diego spot for the couple, where they still frequent for grilled cheese and breakfast burritos, great beers and of course Red Bull Slushies.
Record City | Hillcrest
Laura and Will share a passion for live and new music, and especially enjoy Classic Rock-filled evenings listening to Pink Floyd, Jackson Browne, Neil Young, The Eagles and more on vinyl. It only seemed appropriate to take photos sharing their love for great music at their favorite local record store.
