Michela and David may live in Phoenix, but they traveled to one of their favorite spots in San Diego for a restaurant engagement shoot, snapped by Raechel Denise of Raechel Denise Photography.

The couple met through a mutual friend and  were first friends for 10 years before they began dating. After David popped the question in Maui, the Arizona-residing pair decided to have a shoot at their favorite restaurant, Craft & Commerce in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. “We travel frequently and found this place a few years back,” Michela says. “Beer needed to be included because it plays a big part in our relationship story. The vibe represented us well—laid-back, but big on character, and a California setting.”
