Today’s wedding takes us to Los Angeles, where Eriko and Pat tied the knot in a party that was equal parts beautiful and budget-friendly.
The couple met in a quantum mechanics class at UCSD, and after Pat proposed one night before they went to bed, it was time to start the planning. The Culver Hotel offered a convenient location, where the staff took care of the set-up, food, and furniture. “They allowed us to use our own iPod to save the DJ fee, and the place looked gorgeous without me having to decorate it,” she says. “And I didn’t like the idea of having a notebook for a guest book, so we asked our guests to suggest places for our honeymoon instead.”
