Jessica Delee, 28, met Scott Jalowiec, 30, one cheap pitcher night at a Santa Cruz bowling alley. Despite the small size of the town and the fact that they were both UC Santa Cruz alumni, Scott and Jessica had never seen each other before. They began dating right away, and two years later in 2009, moved to San Diego where Scott started law school at Cal Western. In February 2014, he made Jessica breakfast and suggested they go hiking. Scott proposed cliffside at Cabrillo National Monument, with their dog Phoebe as witness. In front of 100 guests, the couple married in a rooftop ceremony officiated by Scott’s brother and his wife – Jessica’s new brother-and sister-in-law. -EMG
