Aviva & Daniel’s wedding was a grand celebration marked by opulence and elegance. Their jaw dropping, gorgeous wedding is one for the books, and the perfect inspiration for brides dreaming up a wedding day full of sophistication.

Aviva Goldstein, 28, and Daniel Ellman, 30, have known each other since their elementary school days at San Diego Jewish Academy. But it wasn’t until 20 years later that they reconnected at a Thanksgiving party. Then in April 2014, on Aviva’s family trip to Barcelona, Daniel surprised her by popping up in Spain and popping the question in front of her family and a crowd of tourists at Gaudi’s Park Güell. A big gesture calls for a big wedding, and the two said “I do” in front of 480 friends and family at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. —Daniel Custodio
